Lonnie was introduced to dance by Baba Chuck Davis and the African American Dance Ensemble. He was most recently a performer with Royal Caribbean International. He performed in several shows aboard some of the most luxurious cruise liners all over the world.. He was also, a company member with Wylliams/Henry Danse Theatre-MO, Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago-IL, and Dayton Contemporary Dance Co. II-OH. Mr Davis has also, performed and directed Broadway & Vegas revue's for Carnival, Celebrity, and Norwegian Cruise lines. Mr. Davis has been awarded several scholarships to study at Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, and the American Dance Festival to name a few. Lonnie's classes are a challenge to both seasoned and beginning dancers alike. He enjoys using his extensive background in traditional modern dance forms, and combining them with several diverse jazz styles to create his eclectic mix of movement. Mr. Davis has had the privilege of setting works on Dalton Ballet, Gainesville Ballet, and the Studio Atlanta Dance Jazz Ensemble to name a few. He is currently on faculty teaching jazz/musical theatre & modern dance (Horton based) at The Georgia Dance Conservatory, The Studio Atlanta Dance and Pebblebrook Performing Arts High School.
